Superior Indoor Air Quality, Higher Security & Savings, and Better Energy Efficiency For Your School, Dormitory, Hospital, Office Building, Hotel or Doctors Office.  "Q" Air Terminals are NuClimate's line of induction units at various sizes and capacities for use in commercial applications.  The Q-4 induction unit is primarily for school classrooms, conferences rooms, hospitals and other larger rooms that require higher rates of ventilation air or have high population densities.  The Q-1 and Q-1L induction units are primarily for offices, dorm rooms, patient rooms and other smaller rooms that require less ventilation air or have lower population densities.  Total room air circulation is created solely by the induction principle; therefore, there is no electric motor requiring an electric power source or maintenance for a fan and motor. As a result, the “Q” Air Terminal is very quiet and efficient without generating any annoying and distracting noise.  “The Pool System” A Unique Dehumidification System Designed Specifically for the corrosive environment of an indoor pool.  "The Pool System" provides a healthy and comfortable environment for people in the pool area.  It also controls odors in the pool area and in the rest of the building, efficiently controls temperature and humidity, and maintains all building surfaces above the dewpoint to protect the building from damage due to condensation and corrosion.  This system is perfect for School/University Natatoriums, Aquatic Centers, Water Parks, YMCA Pools, Hotel/Motel Pools, Commercial Pools, Residential Pools and Spa & Therapy Pools.

 

Q1 & Q1L

   

Model Q1 & Q1L units are one way blow 24" x 24" ceiling mounted induction terminals.  They have a 2 way grille which discharges on one side and returns on the other.  They are available in right hand and left hand configurations. They were primarily created for areas that require between 45 CFM and 100 CFM of ventilation air. Q1 & Q1L units are available in two and four pipe configurations.  The Q1 and Q1L are a perfect fit for office spaces, dormitory rooms, patient rooms, etc… They are also perfect for hallways and corridors and as a supplement to other "Q" Air Terminal units. These units have drain pans and can be designed to handle both sensible and latent loads in the occupied space. Q1 & Q1L units have been independently tested by Intertek ETL for sound, throw, and performance.
